Role Description The Sales and Marketing Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Nairobi. This role is responsible for promoting the company’s services, driving customer acquisition and retention, and supporting revenue growth. Day-to-day tasks include engaging with customers to understand their energy needs, presenting suitable service options, and handling customer inquiries in a professional manner. The specialist will develop and execute sales and marketing initiatives, prepare proposals and presentations, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and service delivery. Additional responsibilities include tracking sales performance, preparing reports, participating in customer outreach programs, and supporting training efforts for staff on new products, services, or campaigns. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to engage effectively with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders. Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to manage inquiries, resolve issues, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. Candidates should possess Sales skills to identify opportunities, present solutions, and close deals in line with company targets. Candidates should possess Training and Sales Management skills to support team development, coordinate sales activities, and monitor performance. Relevant experience in sales, marketing, or customer-facing roles, preferably within utilities, energy, or related sectors. Ability to analyze market trends, prepare reports, and use CRM or related sales tools. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Diploma or degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
