Please read this policy carefully. By accessing or using the Services, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information that you provide directly, that we obtain automatically when you use the Services, and that we receive from third parties.

1.1 Information You Provide

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you use the Services, we may automatically collect your IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed, dates and times of access, and similar technical and usage data. We may use cookies, session storage, and similar technologies in accordance with our Cookie Policy (if published) and your browser settings.

1.3 Information from Third Parties

We may receive information from third-party job boards, APIs, or other sources when we aggregate or display external job listings. That data is processed in accordance with this policy and the terms of the relevant third-party providers.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Services.
  • Create and manage your account and authenticate you.
  • Display your profile, resume, and applications to employers when you apply to their jobs, and display job listings and applications to employers who post jobs.
  • Enable employers to shortlist candidates, schedule interviews, and send notifications as permitted by the platform.
  • Send you transactional messages (e.g. password reset, application confirmations, shortlist notifications) and, with your consent where required, marketing or product updates.
  • Respond to your inquiries and provide support.
  • Monitor and analyse usage, trends, and performance to improve the Services and security.
  • Comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal process, or enforceable governmental requests; enforce our terms; and protect our rights, privacy, safety, or property, and that of our users and the public.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following circumstances:

  • Employers: When you apply for a job, the employer (and, where applicable, users within that employer’s employer) can see your name, contact details (as shown in your application or profile), cover letter, and attached resume. Employers may use this information to evaluate and contact you about the role.
  • Job seekers: When you post a job, job seekers can see the listing and, when they apply, you can see their application data as described above.
  • Service providers: We may share information with vendors who assist us (e.g. hosting, email delivery, analytics, support). These providers are contractually required to use the information only to perform services for us and in line with this policy.
  • Legal and safety: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government request, or to protect rights, safety, or property.
  • Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to the same privacy commitments.

4. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you delete your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal data in accordance with our retention schedule, except where we are required or permitted to retain it by law. Application and listing data may be retained for a limited period for legal and operational reasons (e.g. dispute resolution, employer records).

5. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data (you can also update much of this in your account settings).

6. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These include encryption (e.g. in transit and at rest where applicable), access controls, and regular review of our practices. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; you provide information at your own risk and we encourage you to use a strong password and keep your login details confidential.

7. Children

The Services are not intended for individuals under the age of 16 (or higher where local law requires). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have collected data from a child, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

8. International Transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your country of residence. Those countries may have different data protection laws. Where we transfer data from the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or other restricted jurisdictions, we implement appropriate safeguards (e.g. standard contractual clauses or other approved mechanisms) as required by applicable law.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date. If changes are material, we may notify you by email or through the platform. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
