Operational Duties and ResponsibilitiesCompile complete reports and reconciliations on warehouse stock movement against each product line ensuring any variance is trailed and acted on by relevant quarters.Update the system on receipts of all finished goods ensuring all sales are accompanied by respective customer orders.Ensure maintenance of the quality of the product within the warehouse is maintained at the highest possible standards. Simple quality control of all finished goods coming in and stored within the warehouse.Supervise daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, handling, and dispatch of finished goods.Coordinate movement of inventory between production, warehouse, and dispatch to maintain optimal stock levels.Ensure all warehouse transactions are properly documented and captured in the system.Maintain accurate stock records and ensure alignment between physical and system inventory.Conduct regular stock counts and support periodic stock audits.Investigate and report stock variances and implement corrective actions.Maintain delivery note registers and ensure invoices correspond accurately to dispatched goods.Ensure compliance with monthly financial cut-off procedures.Prepare reports on stock movements, non-invoiced deliveries, and inventory variances.Enforce adherence to occupational health and safety policies within the warehouse.Ensure safe handling and storage of goods and proper use of warehouse equipment.Safeguard company assets and maintain proper warehouse security controls.Monitor storage conditions to prevent product damage, contamination, or deterioration.Allocate work, supervise, and evaluate warehouse staff to ensure productivity and compliance with procedures.Train staff on warehouse procedures, safety requirements, and proper handling techniques.Identify and recommend improvements in warehouse processes, layout, and systems to enhance efficiency and reduce losses.II.
