The successful candidate will be responsible for policy administration, renewals, claims coordination, client servicing, insurer relationships and business development. The role requires a hands-on professional with practical experience in the insurance industry and a strong understanding of the brokerage and agency environment. The ideal candidate should be customer-focused, commercially minded and able to manage insurance processes independently while working closely with the Managing Director and the wider team. Job description Insurance Operations: Manage insurance policy administration and renewals. Coordinate underwriting and claims processes. Client Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with clients and insurers. Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly. Business Development: Identify opportunities for new business and portfolio growth. Develop strategies to increase insurance sales. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with insurance regulations and company policies. Monitor operational risks and recommend mitigation measures. Team Supervision: Supervise and mentor insurance staff. Conduct staff performance reviews and training. Reporting and Analysis: Prepare operational and performance reports. Analyse insurance trends and business performance.  Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Business Administration or a related field. Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in the insurance industry. Experience working in an insurance brokerage or insurance agency is a MUST. Practical experience in policy administration, renewals, claims coordination and client servicing. Experience in insurance sales or business development is an added advantage. Good understanding of the Kenyan insurance industry and regulatory requirements. Professional insurance certification such as ACII, COP, IIK or equivalent is an added advantage.
