CORE VALUES The following are are some of the core values embraced in order to realize our vision and mission at Kisii University; Professionalism, Teamwork, Accountability, Transparency, Responsiveness and Integrity.Job Description (i)Senior Medical Officer (GRADE 13) – 1 post For appointment to this grade, an Officer must have: Cumulative service period of twelve (12) years’ relevant work experience, three (3) of which should have been at the grade of Medical Officer or in a comparable position; Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine and Surgery or equivalent from an accredited and recognised institution; Master’s Degree in Medicine and Surgery or equivalent from an accredited and recognised institution; Certificate in Leadership course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognised and accredited institution; Registered with a relevant professional body (where applicable); Valid practising license from the relevant professional body (where applicable); and Demonstrated a clear understanding of national development policies, goals and objectives and ability to integrate them in medical functions.
