CORE VALUES The following are are some of the core values embraced in order to realize our vision and mission at Kisii University; Professionalism, Teamwork, Accountability, Transparency, Responsiveness and Integrity.Job Description For appointment to this grade, an Officer must have: Cumulative service period of twelve (12) years’ relevant work experience, three (3) of which should be at the grade of Senior Cook/Senior Waiter Assistant II or in a comparable position; Diploma in any of the following disciplines: Institutional Management, Hospitality, Hotel & Restaurant Management and Home Economics or its equivalent from an accredited examination body; Higher Diploma in any of the following disciplines: Institutional Management, Hospitality, Hotel & Restaurant Management and Home Economics or its equivalent from an accredited examination body; Food handling certificate; Certificate in Supervisory Course lasting not less than two (2) weeks from a recognised and accredited institution; and  Demonstrated merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.
