Key responsibilities include:
- Monitoring and managing accounts receivable to ensure timely collection of outstanding payments.
- Evaluating new and existing clients’ creditworthiness using internal and external data sources.
- Setting up and maintaining accurate customer credit files and payment terms.
- Following up on overdue invoices via phone, email, and written correspondence.
- Resolving payment disputes and escalating problematic accounts as necessary.
- Preparing regular aging reports and providing updates to management on collection status.
