Qualifications/Skills/Experience

  • Bachelor of Science, ICT, or related fields;

  • Must have industry specific certifications; CCNA, CCNP, MCSE, CEH, Azure or related certification

  • Minimum of four(4) years in a dynamic business entity

  • Must demonstrate high integrity and ethical practice

  • Must demonstrate ability to work independently with minimum supervision.

  • Must be a team player who is able to work cordially in teams

  • Must demonstrate ability to multitask.

  • Must demonstrate commitment to operational effectiveness

  • Should have ability to solve problems by applying relevant business knowledge

  • Should demonstrate professional expertise in the relevant work area

  • Establishing network specifications from user requirements, analyzing workflow, access, information, and security requirements;

  • Designing and configuring appropriate routing protocols;

  • Planning, installing, configuring, and testing equipment;

  • Maintaining network performance by monitoring and analyzing usage trends and tuning performance;

  • Troubleshooting network problems and escalating problems to where necessary;

  • Preparing and executing network security protocols to industry standards by developing network access, monitoring, control, and evaluation policies while maintaining accurate documentation;

  • Advising on networking standards and specifications for various networking needs, evaluating and implementing best technologies for optimal performance;

  • Overseeing the implementation of networking projects in the organization to ensure they are carried out according to the laid down standards and procedures;

  • Ensuring preventive and curative maintenance on networks at regular schedules and documenting the same;

  • Submitting accurate, timely and relevant reports;

  • Ensuring continuous process improvement of services through efficient working;

  • Enforcing relevant guidelines, rules and regulations;

  • Ensuring customer satisfaction for the consumers of the services offered by the department;

  • Ensuring efficient execution of work processes as assigned.
