Analyse historical procurement activities and spending patterns to identify efficiency and cost-saving opportunities. Assess supplier performance, contract structures, and sourcing practices. Identify priority vendors and develop negotiation strategies to improve commercial outcomes. Design a procurement improvement roadmap with clear implementation recommendations. Develop procurement governance, supplier management, and sourcing frameworks aligned to business requirements. Present findings, recommendations, and expected savings opportunities to leadership. Requirements Experience required: Experience leading procurement transformation, optimisation, or cost-reduction initiatives. Experience within manufacturing, industrial, or supply-chain-intensive environments. Proven track record identifying procurement savings opportunities and supplier performance improvements. Experience reviewing procurement operating models, sourcing practices, and vendor management processes. Experience engaging with both local and international supplier networks. Technical requirements: Strong procurement analysis and spend management capability. Ability to assess sourcing strategies, supplier relationships, and commercial terms. Strong understanding of procurement governance, controls, and best practices. Experience developing actionable procurement strategies and implementation plans. Strong commercial and negotiation capability. Soft skills: Analytical and data-driven decision-making approach. Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills. Ability to challenge existing practices constructively. Results-oriented with a focus on measurable business outcomes. Strong communication and presentation skills.
