Key Responsibilities Manage end-to-end shipment processes Handle sea, road, and cross-border operations Liaise with shipping lines, transporters, and clients Oversee customs clearance procedures Coordinate warehousing activities Prepare and manage shipping documentation Track shipments and update clients Resolve operational issues Key Competencies Strong supply chain understanding Freight forwarding expertise Customs and warehousing knowledge Problem-solving and organization Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field. 3-5 years’ experience in logistics/freight forwarding across Eastern Africa Knowledge of customs processes – Local and Transit Knowledge of road and transit corridors across East Africa Fluent in English and Swahili Basic computer skills KPIs Timely shipment execution Documentation accuracy Client satisfaction Compliance with regulations
