Qualifications▪ Degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, or a related discipline. ▪ Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in wellsite or operations geology, with prior field experience in drilling, coring, and logging operations highly desirable. Technical Skills & Knowledge ▪ Strong practical skills in core and cuttings description, stratigraphic interpretation, and basic sedimentology. ▪ Competence in interpreting LWD/wireline logs, mud logging data, and basic petrophysical outputs, with the ability to integrate multiple geological data sources. ▪ Proficiency in wellsite reporting systems, sample tracking processes, subsurface software (e.g., Petrel and other wellsite platforms), and good geological data management practices. ▪ Knowledge of sample handling, core preservation, laboratory testing requirements, and geological metadata standards. ▪ Sound understanding of drilling operations, rig terminology, casing programs, and basic well control principles.
