To support Gulf E&P BV by developing and implementing contracting strategies, managing the end-toend tendering process - including preparation and issuance of invitations to tender, conducting objectivebid evaluations, facilitating contract awards, and overseeing post-award contractor performance.
Qualification & Experience• Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. • Professional certification, such as CIPS or MKISM • Training in sourcing, contract management, or supply chain analytics is an added advantage. • Minimum of seven (7) years of progressive experience in procurement within a structured organization. • Demonstrated expertise in end-to-end procurement processes, including sourcing strategy development, tendering, bid evaluation, negotiation, and contract award. • Proven experience in supplier sourcing, evaluation, and performance management. • Exposure within an Oil and Gas operating environment. • Demonstrated experience handling high-value and complex procurements across goods and services. • Experience in project-based or operational environments (e.g., energy, infrastructure, or manufacturing) is an added advantage. Skills & Competencies: • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills, with a focus on value delivery and cost optimization. • Sound understanding of procurement policies, procedures, and governance frameworks. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and complexities. • Strong stakeholder engagement and supplier relationship management capabilities. • Proven ability to manage multiple procurement activities concurrently while consistently meeting deadlines. • Strong communication skills, with the ability to interpret and present procurement data and recommendations effectively. • High level of integrity, attention to detail, and adherence to regulatory and organizational compliance standards. • Ability to understand technical scope of works
