Arrow Facilities Management Ltd is a growing facilities management company providing cleaning, pest control, landscaping, and support services to corporate offices, commercial buildings, hospitals, schools, malls, and institutions across Kenya.
We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Officer whose primary responsibility will be converting qualified sales opportunities into long-term service contracts.
Unlike traditional sales roles that rely heavily on cold prospecting, this position provides access to inbound inquiries generated through our website, referrals, recommendations, marketing campaigns, and tender opportunities. The successful candidate will be responsible for engaging prospects, conducting site visits, preparing proposals, handling objections, following up opportunities, and driving opportunities through to successful closure.

Key Responsibilities
Sales Conversion & Client Acquisition
Manage and convert inbound sales inquiries into paying clients. Conduct client meetings, presentations, and site visits. Understand client requirements and recommend suitable service solutions. Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and service presentations. Follow up opportunities and maintain a healthy sales pipeline. Handle client objections and negotiate commercial terms. Secure long-term contractual cleaning and facilities management agreements. Participate in tender and RFQ submissions. Pursue selected new business opportunities where necessary.
Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong client relationships. Identify opportunities for contract growth and service expansion. Represent Arrow Facilities Management professionally at all times.
Performance & Reporting
Achieve monthly sales targets and activity expectations. Maintain accurate records of sales activities and opportunities. Submit periodic sales reports as required. Operate in accordance with the company’s Sales KPI & Performance Incentive Framework.
Qualifications & Experience
Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field. Minimum 2 years’ experience in Business Development, Corporate Sales, Account Management, or B2B Sales. Experience selling corporate services, outsourced services, facilities management solutions, cleaning services, security services, insurance, logistics, or other B2B service offerings will be an added advantage. Valid driving licence will be an added advantage.
