Role Description This is a Commision based, full-time, on-site Life Insurance Agent role based in Mombasa. The Life Insurance Agent will be responsible for identifying and approaching prospective clients, explaining APA Life products, and recommending suitable life insurance and pension solutions that align with clients’ needs and financial goals. Responsibilities include conducting needs assessments, preparing and presenting quotations, completing policy applications, and ensuring accurate documentation and timely policy issuance. The role involves maintaining regular contact with clients, handling inquiries, supporting claims processes, and providing after-sales service to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention. The Life Insurance Agent will also be expected to meet individual sales targets, participate in marketing and field activities, attend trainings, and provide feedback on market trends and customer preferences.
Qualifications ECOP certified and IRA licensed or willingness to get certified. Atleast 25yrs old or older Currently Residing in Mombasa Demonstrated Sales skills, with a focus on relationship-building, active listening, and responsive support before and after policy issuance. Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex products in clear and simple terms. Proven ability to work in a target-driven environment, including strong time management, self-motivation, and resilience in field-based sales. Ability to penetrate and create markets.
