Job Title And Overview

We are seeking an experienced GRC Implementation Consultant to lead and support the implementation, configuration, and rollout of the Diligent GRC platform for our clients.

The consultant will work closely with Business Stakeholders, Audit, Risk, Compliance teams, IT teams, and Executive Leadership to ensure successful deployment and adoption of governance, risk, audit, compliance, and policy management capabilities.

The ideal candidate will possess strong functional knowledge of Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) frameworks, excellent stakeholder engagement skills, and hands-on experience implementing enterprise GRC solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Project Implementation: Lead end-to-end implementation of the Diligent GRC platform. Gather and document business, risk, audit, and compliance requirements. Configure workflows, forms, dashboards, reporting structures, and user roles within the platform. Support platform integration with existing enterprise systems where required. Coordinate data migration, validation, and testing activities. Training and Support: Conduct comprehensive administrator and end-user training sessions. Develop user guides, SOPs, and training materials. Guide clients in leveraging reporting and analytics tools to derive actionable insights and drive continuous improvement.

Documentation and Communication: Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation including business requirements, configuration documents, process flows, test scripts, SOPs, training manuals, and implementation reports. Ensure clear and consistent communication with project stakeholders throughout the implementation lifecycle. Document meeting outcomes, risks, issues, decisions, and action items accurately and in a timely manner. Facilitate effective knowledge transfer to client teams and system administrators to support long-term platform sustainability. Maintain high standards of written and verbal communication across technical and non-technical stakeholder groups.

Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate workshops with the respective GRC stakeholders. Translate business requirements into technical and functional specifications. Provide regular project updates to the PMO. Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with project objectives.

Risk Management: Demonstrate a keen eye for identifying risks and issues, proactively mitigating potential roadblocks to project success. Uphold high productivity standards, delivering work within agreed time frames while completing all administrative tasks efficiently.

Education And Experience

Completed degree in Internal Audit -CIA, CPA, CISA, IIA Diligent Certification (desirable requirement) A minimum of 3 years' experience in an internal audit role Hands-on exposure to ACL, Galvanize or Diligent products (desirable requirement) Training/facilitation experience (desirable requirement) Experience with audit management software such as Caseware Idea, TeamMate, Barnowl, Arbutus etc MS Office Must be a Kenyan citizen
