For our Nairobi company we are looking for a business development intern. This role is designed for a motivated individual who is eager to gain hands-on experience in market research, business development activities, scouting of commercial opportunities, and support in the preparation and participation in industry events. The candidate needs to have a strong interest in the energy sector, renewable technologies, and innovation in clean and sustainable solutions. You will work closely with senior professionals, contribute to real projects, and develop valuable skills in a dynamic, international, and collaborative environment.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Conduct research and analysis on the national energy sector and relevant industrial policies Support the scouting of new clients and commercial opportunities within the country and across the East African region, including the monitoring of tenders Research industry events and trade fairs, and support the preparatory activities for the company’s participation Support different company departments with ad‑hoc tasks and activities as required Provide administrative support when needed

QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Engineering (preferably energy engineering) Interest in the energy sector and renewable technologies, driven by a desire for technical innovations Dynamic and proactive attitude, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Strong written and verbal communication skills with keen attention to detail. Knowledge of the Italian language will be considered an asset
