Blue Morpho is a new Kenyan-Australian startup building modern, secure digital workplaces for clients across two continents. We move fast, work lean and care deeply about doing things right. That means clean architecture, robust governance and security that holds up under scrutiny. We are looking for a full-time Microsoft 365 specialist to join us in our Nairobi office. You will lead SharePoint and Exchange migration projects, design robust access governance frameworks and help clients navigate the rapidly evolving Microsoft AI and Copilot landscape, all underpinned by solid security and compliance practices. Given our Australia-Kenya presence, some flexibility around working hours is required to bridge both timezones.
Based in Upper Hill, Nairobi Our office is located in Upper Hill, Nairobi's premier commercial hub, home to major banks, embassies and professional services firms.
What you'll be doing Lead SharePoint migration projects including on-premises to Online and tenant-to-tenant Plan and execute Exchange and Exchange Online migrations including hybrid configurations Design and implement Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) at site, library and item levels Audit existing permission structures and redesign them for long-term manageability Configure and manage Intune, Purview and DLP policies across client environments Plan and deliver intranet projects using SharePoint as the foundation Support clients in adopting Microsoft Copilot and AI tools responsibly and effectively Advise on SharePoint architecture, governance frameworks and best practices Work across Australian and Kenyan business hours with flexibility where needed

The ideal candidate Has strong demonstrable hands-on Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams and Exchange migration experience Thinks about permissions governance before migration not as an afterthought Can map and simplify complex legacy permission structures and mail infrastructure Understands how SharePoint, Intune and DLP policies interact operationally Has delivered intranet projects that people actually use Keeps pace with the Microsoft AI ecosystem including Copilot, AI Foundry and what is coming next Understands the governance and data risks that come with enterprise AI adoption Is comfortable in a fast-moving startup environment with direct client exposure Is based in Nairobi (or willing to relocate) and happy to work from the office full-time in Upper Hill Can flex their schedule to overlap with Australian business hours when needed
