Role Overview We are hiring a Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day financial recordkeeping. The role keeps the books accurate, the bank reconciled, and the business ready for monthly close — so leadership always has clean numbers to act on.
Key Responsibilities
- Record daily transactions in the accounting system (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar)
- Reconcile bank, credit card, and payment processor accounts on a weekly basis
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing and bill payments
- Maintain organised digital records of receipts, invoices, and supporting documents
- Support monthly and quarterly close with accurate ledger entries
- Work with the controller on reporting, audit prep, and process improvements
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 2+ years in a bookkeeping or accounting support role
- Hands-on with QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, or similar accounting platforms
- Strong proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
- Detail-oriented with strong reconciliation discipline
- Familiarity with US GAAP basics is a plus
- Discretion when handling sensitive financial information
