About The Job

The purpose of this role is to manage the chargeback process throughout the transaction lifecycle in compliance with Scheme Dispute Rules and Regulations. The role requires technical expertise and close collaboration with third‑party banks, internal stakeholders, and merchants to ensure accurate, timely, and effective dispute resolution.

Responsibilities

Job Accountabilities

Logging of chargebacks as and when received from our Acquirers. Adherence to SLA timelines as agreed with Acquirers and ensuring representation is done on a timely manner to avoid financial loss to DPO and the merchant. Retrieving & analysis of the supporting documents received from merchants to ensure evidence is as per requirements of the Card Schemes. Daily monitoring of chargebacks to capture any merchants with actual or potential to exceed chargebacks thresholds as set by the schemes. Coordinating, advice & guidance to merchants, Acquirers & internal stakeholders for chargeback related queries. Keeping abreast with scheme requirements for chargebacks. Follow up with Acquirer Banks for chargeback status once the chargeback window period lapses as per the scheme timelines.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.

Experience

2 years of chargeback processing experience

Knowledge/Skills

Knowledge of Chargeback Rules & Regulations for various Schemes such as Visa, MasterCard, & AMEX.
