Reporting: Reporting to the General Manager/HRM Relationships: External & Internal customers employees Location: Based at the training school Role summary Develop, implement and oversee training programs, ensure security officers are skilled in safety protocols and emergency response. Develop curriculum, monitor performance, compliance with regulatory bodies and maintain high security standards for staff on boarding & training. Key responsibilities Onboarding & Vetting Lead the recruitment, background checks and induction of new security personnel inline with company standards and maintain recruitment records. Training development & Delivery Deliver comprehensive security training curriculum, lead workshops, emergency response drills. Performance Management Monitor staff performance, conduct assessments and provide refresher training to address skill gaps Standards & Compliance Align all training's with legal requirements, regulations and industry best practices Operational Support Work closely with Area managers to fill in resourcing gaps, Identify security threats and develop mitigation strategies. Documentation/Administrative support Maintain accurate records of training attendance, compliance certifications, certificates, recruitment records, qualifications database.Prepare training reports, briefing notes, and manage the administrative processes for training and recruitment. Qualification and Knowledge Minimum of 3 years proven in a training/recruitment roleCertification in First aid, Fire safety or any other security relevant courseBasic recruits course from disciplined forces/security law enforcement or military training roles - added advantageExpert in security procedures, adult learning methods and threat assessmentKnowledge of dog training and care Skills & Attributes Analytical skills with ability to manage training and recruitment drivesVast experience in use of training technologies.Exceptional Communication & leadership skills, with ability to command respect and inspire a diverse teamHigh level of physical fitness.Member of PSRA or relevant training professional body
