Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Operating and maintaining wastewater facilities and related plumbing systems to ensure compliance with operational standards. Performing inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on submersible sewage or wastewater pumps. Installing, repairing, and maintaining water, gas, and sewage systems in compliance with technical specifications and safety standards. Reading blueprints, layouts, and technical manuals to ensure proper installation and repair of plumbing systems. Identifying and addressing plumbing issues, including leaks, blockages, and pump malfunctions. Documenting inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities to ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational requirements. Coordinating with supervisors and other team members to achieve operational goals and respond to emergencies as needed. Adhering to established safety protocols and plumbing codes when carrying out assignments. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS At least three (3) years of work experience in the maintenance and repair of submersible sewage or wastewater pumps. Knowledge and hands-on experience in the operation and maintenance of wastewater facilities. Strong understanding of plumbing systems, wastewater operations, and applicable codes and safety standards. High school diploma or equivalent. Must be in possession of a valid passport and be able to travel internationally. Passport should be valid for a minimum of one (1) year or more at the time of hiring. Must successfully pass contract medical requirements and maintain requirements for the duration of deployment. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Journeyman-level plumbing certification or equivalent training in plumbing and wastewater systems. Prior experience in an austere OCONUS (Outside the Continental United States) environment with a multi-national workforce is preferred. Valid country driver’s license and passport.
