Job Mission
As the Partnerships Manager for Africa, you will work closely with Entrepreneurship Support Organizations (ESOs), mentors, strategic partners, sponsors, and other ecosystem actors to create stronger, more connected ecosystems.
You will make our ecosystem programs (such as Conecta) possible by building and converting the pipeline of participating ESOs, generating qualified opportunities for our revenue team, securing sponsorships, and co-organizing the Conecta Summit and other major regional events.
Roles & Contributions
1. ESO Membership Development & Conversion (30%)
Map and identify high-potential ESOs in priority countries using local networks.
Manage the qualification, application, and conversion process for Conecta Africa.
Maintain a clean, accurate pipeline of prospects and renewals in the CRM (HubSpot) to ensure clear tracking.
Achieve annual targets for new paying ESO members and ESO revenue generated.
2. Qualified Sales Lead Generation (30%)
Generate and qualify Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) through ecosystem engagement, events, media, and partner referrals.
Identify potential institutional partners or clients for Bridge's large-scale programs.
Deliver fully validated leads to the Revenue team with comprehensive qualification context to ensure a seamless handoff.
Achieve set semester targets for SQLs across target markets.
3. Event Sponsorships & Ecosystem Opportunities (20%)
Identify and secure sponsors and co-funders for the annual Conecta Summit and other regional ecosystem events.
Co-organize and execute the Conecta Summit (coordinating guests, partners, logistics, and on-the-ground execution).
Represent Bridge credibly at external conferences, summits, and ecosystem spaces, securing speaking opportunities.
4. Ecosystem Partnerships & Value Creation (20%)
Identify and qualify Partnership Qualified Leads (PQLs) to secure agreements that deliver tangible value to ESOs, entrepreneurs, and alumni (mentors, funding pathways, visibility, perks).
Screen potential partners for strategic and mission alignment.
Track commitments, pipeline progression, and partnership outcomes in the CRM.
What You Bring (Skills & Experience)
We are looking for someone who is relational, target-driven, and highly organized:
Experience: 3โ6 years in business development, partnerships, ecosystem development, entrepreneurship support, or related roles.
Ecosystem Knowledge: Strong understanding of how ESOs, entrepreneurs, funders, corporates, and public institutions interact.
Hunter Mindset: Proactive with cold outreach, opening new relationships, and turning informal connections into structured pipeline opportunities.
CRM Discipline: High discipline in tracking contacts and pipeline stages (ideally in HubSpot).
Event Management: Experience co-organizing large-scale events, summits, or conferences (logistics, guest coordination, on-the-ground hosting).
Revenue & Results Orientation: Comfortable working toward targets, KPIs, and understanding how ecosystem activities contribute to sustainable revenue.
Nice to Have: Existing relationships within the African/Kenyan entrepreneurship ecosystem; experience working with foundations, multilaterals, or corporates.
What We Offer
Compensation: USD 26K - 29K gross per year (paid in USD), depending on profile.
Contract Type: Full-time permanent position (initial 6-month trial period).
Starting Date: October/November 2026.
Location: Nairobi, Kenya.
Office Rhythm: Hybrid model with a minimum of 2 days per week in the office and 3 flexible work-from-home days.
Vacation: 23 days of paid holidays annually + local public holidays.
